An FIR has been registered against Karnataka cadre IPS officer Shivansu Rajput (2019 batch) and his family in Sector 126 police station area of Noida. The complaint has been lodged by IPS’s wife Dr. Kriti Singh. The FIR is of a total of 41 pages, in which apart from the husband, a case has been registered against his mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and a total of seven people.
Dowry harassment and domestic violence have been alleged in the complaint. Dr. Kriti Singh says that despite spending around Rs 2 crore on the marriage, she had to face mental and physical harassment. It has also been alleged in the FIR that IPS Shivansu Rajput has illicit relations with many women.
The marriage took place under love marriage and the wedding ceremony was organized on a large scale in a 5 star hotel. The complaint also mentions the names of IPS’s friends, who are accused of being involved in some incidents. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against the IPS officer and his family and started investigation.
During the investigation, efforts are being made to get to the bottom of all the allegations. The police are expected to clarify the status of the accused in this case soon. This case is related to serious allegations like dowry harassment, domestic violence and illicit relations.
