There is a tussle over seat sharing within the Grand Alliance in Bihar. The rivalry between constituent parties on each other’s seats has created a crisis. Meanwhile, Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahni’s claim on 15 seats has further increased the problems of the Grand Alliance.
According to sources, Mukesh Sahni Not only is he adamant on some specific seats of his choice, but he also wants to announce his name for the post of Deputy CM. Sahni, who seems disappointed with Tejashwi Yadav, is now hoping for help from Congress and Left parties.
RJD wants to give only 12 seats to Sahni
According to the information, Mukesh Sahni had initially demanded 60 seats. After this he reduced his demand to 40 and then to 20 seats. Now Sahni is said to be ready for compromise on 15 seats. However, RJD sources say that the party is not in favor of giving more than 12 seats to Sahni.

Seeking the post of Deputy CM
Not only this, the RJD leadership is currently not agreeing to Sahni’s demand for the post of Deputy CM. It is being told that to put pressure on RJD, Mukesh Sahni changed the timing of the press conference thrice on Thursday and finally canceled it.
Sahani wants to field candidates on these seats
The 15 seats on which Sahni wants to field his candidates are Amour, Bathnaha, Gowdaboram, Alinagar, Rajauli, Bhabua, Kesariya, Jhanjharpur, Gopalpur, Sakra, Nautan, Harnaut, Aurai, Nalanda and Chhatapur. This tug of war within the Grand Alliance is creating new challenges regarding electoral coordination.
