MP News: In Indore’s Holkar Science College, two students have committed a strange and serious crime to stop the examinations. Both the students circulated a fake letter about the death of college principal Dr. Anamika Jain on social media.
Actually, two students of third semester of Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) prepared a fake letter by copying the college letterhead. In this letter, due to the ‘sudden demise’ of Principal Dr. Anamika Jain, it was said that the online examinations of October 15 and 16 will be postponed and classes will be postponed. Students circulated this fake letter on social media on October 14, the purpose of which was to postpone the examinations.
Dr. Anamika Jain told that this letter caused great pain to her and her family. Many people also came to his house to express their condolences.
FIR and 60 days suspension
On the complaint of the principal, a case was registered against both the students at Bhanwarkuan police station on Wednesday night. Both have been charged under the Indian Civil Code (BNS) with knowingly preparing a false document with intent to defame a person. In this, they can face imprisonment of up to three years and fine.
Principal Dr. Jain told that both the students have accepted their mistake in writing. The disciplinary committee of the college has unanimously decided to suspend both the students for 60 days.
Speaking to news agency Bhasha, Dr Jain also claimed that some disgruntled elements had been harassing him for a long time to prevent him from performing his official duties properly. However, he did not elaborate on this.
Let us tell you that Holkar Science College was established in 1891. Indore It was done by the then ruler Shivajirao Holkar. It is considered to be one of the oldest science colleges in Central India. At present about 15 thousand students study in it.
