Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the answer keys of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination on 16th October. SSC CGL 2025 answer keys for all question papers are available on ssc.gov.in website. SSC CGL 2024 exams were held over 15 days between September 12 to 26 and October 14.

When can you file objection?

The Commission has also given the candidates the option to lodge a complaint against the SSC CGL 2025 answer key. Candidates can view the answer key and lodge a complaint, if any, online by paying certain fees per question within the prescribed time limit, which will not be refunded. Candidates can challenge the answer key and recorded responses online by paying Rs 50 per objection till 19th October (9 PM). Earlier, the fee for filing objection was Rs 100.

SSC has also mentioned in the notification that the question paper will be for personal use and self-analysis only. It further said, “An undertaking to this effect has been included in the Challenge Management Portal, which will be visible to the candidates when they log in.”

8000 candidates had given the exam

There were examinations for about 8,000 candidates on October 14. These candidates also include those whose examinations were disrupted due to a fire incident at a center in Mumbai and others for whom the Commission found unclear evidence of malpractice. The Commission will usually upload the provisional answer key under the “Answer Key” section on the SSC homepage. Additionally, a “Response Sheet” link will be activated for candidates to check their marked answers.

Tier-1 examination consisted of objective and multiple choice questions. Except for English Comprehension, questions were in both English and Hindi. There was negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. The result of Tier-1 will be based on the final answer key. Candidates selected in Tier-1 will have to appear in Tier-2 examination, in which Paper-1 and Paper-2 will be held in different shifts or days.
