A big change is about to come for Vivo users. The company has announced a new operating system, which before now was available only in the Chinese market. Now the company will offer the same operating system in all markets. According to the company, it will be better than before. Till now FuntouchOS was available in Vivo phones. Just before Diwali, the company has made a big announcement and has also released the list. There is a list of smartphones which will get Vivo’s new operating system and the phone will get a new makeover.
Now the company is replacing FuntouchOS with the new operating system Origin OS. Many new features will be available in this operating system based on Android 16. It has been provided with a new Origin Smooth Engine, which will give a smooth experience to the users. For this, the system will optimize core modules, computing, storage and display.
When will the new operating system be available?
Vivo If we believe, OriginOS 6 will be released through over the air update. This update will be released in a phase wide manner. This means that not everyone will get the upgrade to OriginOS 6 at once. It will be rolled out gradually. This update will also be available to many old phones of Vivo, which will work on a completely new system.

The update will come to Vivo X Fold5, X200 Pro, X200, X200 FE, V60 in early November 2025. In mid-November, the company will release updates for X Fold3 Pro and X100 Pro, X100. The company will release updates on V60e, V50, V50e, T4 Ultra, T4 Pro in December. In the year 2026, the company will release updates for other devices.

What are the features?
Origin Animation System will be available in OriginOS 6. The company claims that this will improve the visual experience. According to the brand, this operating system uses the Snap-up Engine to improve computing power. This will launch apps up to 16 percent faster.

Apart from this, many visual changes will also be found in the operating system. You will get a new lock screen. Many AI features have also been added to this platform. You will be able to use features like AI Retouch, AI Image Expander, Photo Enhance, Smart Call Assist, Doc Master and AI Search. Additionally, you will also get Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini Live features on the phones.
