Border Security Force (BSF) has started applications for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Group C from Thursday, October 16, 2025. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for this recruitment drive by visiting the official website of BSF, rectt.bsf.gov.in. The application window will remain open till November 4, 2025, 11:59 pm.
According to the official notification, this recruitment will be on temporary basis and can also be made permanent later. This recruitment is being done under sports quota and is valid only for meritorious sportspersons who are medal winners, position holders and/or participants in sports events.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
Age: Candidates age should be between 18 to 23 years. BSF said that age relaxation will be given as per the existing recruitment rules. Candidates should also possess prescribed sports qualifications as mentioned in the official advertisement by BSF.
Application Fee:
Male candidates of general (unreserved) and OBC category applying under sports quota will have to pay an application fee of Rs 159. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category are exempted from paying fees.
Fees should be paid online. According to BSF, applications received through any other mode of fee payment will be immediately rejected. BSF will fill 391 vacant posts through this recruitment drive. For more details, candidates are advised to visit the official website of Border Security Force.

Step 6: Download the confirmation page.
