According to Iqra, she was insulted by calling her ‘Mulli and terrorist’ in Chapparpur village located in Gangoh area. Therefore, now he came to the same area and presented his views among the villagers.

During the meeting with the villagers, Iqra Hasan said that she was deeply saddened by the recent incident that happened in the village. He said that destroying any place of faith is condemnable and cannot be tolerated. He clarified that he never supported those who went to jail in this case, nor did he make any call in favor of anyone. Iqra said that if someone else is involved then he should also be given strict punishment.

In the meeting, Iqra folded her hands and said that everyone has the right to protest, but the way abusive language was used against religion, community and women, it is like breaking the society. She said that her biggest happiness was that people of every religion and caste considered her as their daughter and sister and voted for her. But now the abuses that have been done are not just an insult to her, but to every woman in this area. She said that she has come to talk about society, not politics.

Iqra said that some people are dividing the society in the name of religion, and she will counter such politics of hatred. She said that even though she was asked by the administration not to go to the village, she said that this is her area and she will definitely go among the society.
