The city of Lord Ram in Ayodhya is going to get another new identity. The world’s first Ramayana Wax Museum is ready here. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate it during the Deepotsav ceremony. This museum has been built in front of Kashiram Colony on Chaudah Kosi Parikrama Marg and is going to become a new center of faith for the devotees.

The construction of this air-conditioned museum spread over 9850 square feet has cost approximately Rs 6 crore. Wax statues of 50 major characters of Ramayana including Shri Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, Ravana, Vibhishana have been installed here. These sculptures are so lifelike that the audience will feel themselves in Treta Yuga. 100 people can enter the museum simultaneously.

Ramayana wax museum ready

On the ground floor of this two-storey building built in South Indian architectural style, there is a glimpse of Ramlala’s child form to Sita Swayamvar, while on the first floor, scenes of exile, Lanka Dahan and Ram-Ravana war are shown. Separate lighting arrangements have been made for each statue.

CM Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate

The museum has been constructed by the famous Sunil Wax Museum Company of Kerala. Arrangements for parking, coffee house and snacks zone have also been made outside. 12 percent of the museum’s income will go to the Municipal Corporation.
