Apple has launched a new MacBook. This is a 14 inch model and it has Apple M5 chipset. The company has claimed that this will be the next big leap for AI in Mac, i.e. like a big breakthrough.
Actually, Apple M5 chipset has 16 core neural engine. It is specifically designed for artificial intelligence and machine learning tasks. The company has said that this processor is very powerful.

The company claims that due to the new neural engine, the work from building Local Large Language Model (LLM) to creating apps will become easier and faster. The SSD provided in MacBook Pro is also 2x faster than the previous generation. The company has claimed that it will provide 24-hour backup. Apart from this, it has a unified memory bandwidth of 150GB/s.
Even though this time Apple did not talk much about AI at the iPhone 17 series launch, the M5 processor has been provided with various features to make AI and machine learning faster.
M5 has a 10 core GPU with a neural accelerator in each core. The display is 14 inches and there has been no change in it compared to the previous model. Apart from this, a 12-megapixel center stage selfie camera has been provided which is also available in the iPhone 17 series.
The sale of MacBook Pro M5 will start in India from October 22 and its starting price is Rs 1 lakh 70 thousand. Apple has targeted AI developers with MacBook Pro who want a powerful computer for AI workflow.
It is worth noting that normal AI based agentive browsers choke a basic MacBook Air badly, that is, the CPU is being utilized more than 100%. In such a situation, AI workflow is difficult to achieve.
