Cancer treatment is possible today, but even if anyone knows about it, only the person who has suffered from it can narrate its experience. One such international cricketer is battling cancer. He told about his own suffering related to cancer.
Australia 33-year-old batsman Nick Maddinson recently told that he is battling testicular cancer and is now ready to return to the cricket field soon.

33-year-old Maddinson made his international debut 12 years ago in the 2013 T20I against India in Rajkot. The last time he played a Test match was nine years ago. He said chemotherapy, which began in mid-May, was the “longest nine weeks” of his life. Nick Maddinson has told that he cancer Chemotherapy has been done for (testicular cancer).
He told Nine Newspaper that when he was diagnosed with cancer, it had spread to his abdominal lymph nodes and lungs. He has been out of the game since he was dropped from Australia’s domestic team New South Wales team in March.
Hair fell out, child was also born… Mandison expressed her pain.
Cricketer Maddison told that his second child Wilder with wife Bianca was also born during this period. He said that by the second or third week all his hair fell out and he felt very tired. Steroids had to be taken to control the side effects, but they made me sleepless at night. He told- I was very tired and it felt as if I had to sleep 24/7. He described it as “the slowest and longest nine weeks” of his life.
Maddison said that chemotherapy ended in July and after that Maddison started training at the NSW Headquarters. He has scored more than 10,000 runs in his career. The good news came in September that he was cancer-free, but Maddison said it was scary to learn that the cancer had spread to many parts of the body within a short time. He said; If you have doubt about something, then definitely check it. This is very important.
