Valve has already mounted the Steam Body’s sluggish charging speeds.
Valve’s 0.3.0 update for Steam Frame claims “Considerably sooner charging whereas unit is off / sleeping.” It’s true. I used to see 8-watt charging when plugging in a useless unit, and 27-watt charging at peak. Now I’m getting 19-21W charging straight away and as much as 42W in sport.
That’s sufficient to plug in a useless Body and begin taking part in straight away.
