Rockstar Games is taking one of many final steps on a really lengthy street: The Grand Theft Auto 6 launch trailer arrived Thursday. In an extremely common however chaotic collection, the brand new trailer hits totally different from the remainder, full with a new, haunting track from Justice, that includes Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. We’re obsessive about all of it.
Judging from the trailer, it looks as if the wait has been price it. The launch trailer hits a beat that the opposite video games haven’t appeared to fairly elevate to. It was almost a year ago that Rockstar Video games introduced it might be releasing GTA 6, and now we’re getting nearer to its Nov. 19 launch date for the Xbox Collection X, Collection S and PlayStation 5.
The story facilities round a personality named Jason, who was once within the military, however admits he “bought into some bother,” and that they “don’t give loans to folks like me.” When he will get a name from the opposite central character, Lucia, the story begins, and we’re swept into the journey and chaos that this sport is making an attempt to deliver to the desk.
GTA has all the time been a choose-your-own-adventure sort of sport. Personally, I’ve by no means performed by the storylines, as a substitute preferring the open-world nature of doing something you need in an intensive setting. However this trailer has me intrigued and eager to know what occurs to our foremost characters.
The brand new background observe is dynamic and unhappy, suggesting that the story that can unfold gained’t be your typical smash-and-bash sport.
GTA 6 has been in improvement for a particularly very long time — GTA 5 got here out in 2013 — and we’re about to see simply what the fruits of Rockstar Video games’ labor are all about. Prepare for a brand new experience that ought to deliver outdated GTA lovers and newcomers on board.
