Following within the footsteps of GTA 6, God of War Laufey is the subsequent massive recreation to get a collector field with out the sport itself.
Sony has revealed the collector field for God of Battle Laufey, which prices $150 and features a good statue of Faye. Sadly it doesn’t embrace a steelbook with a disc copy of the sport, or any copy of the sport, bodily or digitally. Preorders open at the moment at 10am PT by means of PlayStation Direct, and inventory is proscribed, Sony warned. You possibly can view a full breakdown of the field’s objects beneath.
God of Battle Laufey Collector Field contents:
- Mild-Up Faye Statue – An eight-inch tall statue that includes Faye, Phranque, and Rue preventing in opposition to Begtse’s troopers. Phranque will gentle up when the statue is plugged right into a USB energy supply.
- 51-Card Oracle Deck – That includes customized illustrations for every card by the gifted Megan Lara, the Oracle Deck is a ravishing illustration of your journey by means of the Everywhen.
- Bodily Mini Artbook – Idea artwork depicting the characters, creatures, and environments of God of Battle Laufey hand-selected by our gifted artwork crew at Santa Monica Studio.
Predictably, lots of people are drawing comparisons to the game-less GTA 6 collector’s box. Nonetheless, some could also be a bit extra accepting of the worth God of Battle is providing right here. GTA 6’s field features a bunch of Vice Metropolis-themed merch, akin to a pair of sun shades, a hat, and a determine of a cartoon gator named Macca. It additionally prices a whopping $400, which is hard to swallow.
Many had been critical of the fact that GTA 6’s box didn’t include a statue of Jason and Lucia, along with feeling just like the field might’ve been cheaper if it did not embrace sure objects. So, God of Battle Laufey might not be as egregious to some followers given it’s a smaller field with a statue of the protagonist. Nonetheless, it does really feel a bit missing in comparison with earlier God of Battle collector’s editions.
God of Battle Ragnarok’s collector’s version included Thor’s hammer, a steelbook (no recreation disc, although), DLC, a code for PS4 and PS5 copies of the sport, and a handful of different trinkets. God of Battle 2018’s collector’s version included a statue of Kratos and Atreus, a steelbook with a disc, a bodily map, a litograph, and two small figures of Brok and Sindri, along with a bunch of digital content material.
Whereas that is doubtless presupposed to be an add-on for people who find themselves already planning on shopping for the sport, it is disappointing that God of Battle Laufey’s field would not no less than embrace a complimentary improve to the sport’s digital deluxe version, which incorporates particular armor and weapons within the full recreation.
God of Battle Laufey – Collector Field shall be obtainable in “extremely restricted portions” completely direct from PlayStation on February 16, 2027 for a really useful retail value of $149.99 USD/ €149.99/ £129.99. Preorders start at the moment, October 13, 2026 at 10am native time.
