Daredevil star Charlie Cox has confirmed that he’s starring in one other online game, this one for Sega.
Cox opened up concerning the challenge at New York Comedian-Con 2026, telling IGN’s Jeffrey Vega that he’s accomplished recording for an as-yet unannounced Sega online game.
“I did one other one! It doesn’t have a reputation but,” he stated. “I did a Sega one. I’ve carried out one since. It hasn’t come out but. It was enjoyable to do. It’s exhausting. It’s a complete completely different job, man.”
Cox went on to share a humorous anecdote about his expertise engaged on the sport, saying that the crew weren’t conscious that he wasn’t American.
“I’m undecided what I’m allowed to say, however I confirmed up for it, and I met them for the primary time, they requested me to do that recreation, and so I agreed to it. Then I needed to do 40 hours or no matter it was, and I confirmed up for the primary day, and I used to be like, ‘Hello guys, good to satisfy you! How are you?’ And all of them went, ‘…oh, he’s English.’ They’d hoped, they’d needed him to be American. However now I’ve bought to do 40 hours of traces I’ve not ready in an accent. Yeah, I believe they thought I used to be American.”
This, at the least, provides us one little bit of details about his position within the mysterious recreation — he’ll be taking part in an American character (or at the least, a personality with an American accent), and it’s probably that his position will likely be central to the plot, provided that he recorded 40 hours’ value of traces for it.
It is also value noting that Cox confirmed he was engaged on a brand new recreation earlier this yr, although he equally declined to say many particulars on the time.
To date, that’s all we all know. Cox has already confirmed his voice performing chops with Expedition 33, the place he performed Gustave, famously recording all of his traces in a mere four-hour session. Gamers lauded his efficiency after the sport launched in 2025, and he was even nominated for Finest Efficiency on the Recreation Awards that yr.
Sega’s upcoming lineup of online game releases consists of Stranger Than Heaven, Virtua Fighter Crossroads, Persona 6, and Alien: Isolation 2, amongst a number of others. Provided that this explicit challenge doesn’t also have a identify but, it’s unlikely that it’s any of those which have already been introduced, so we’ll simply have to attend and see what’s in retailer.
Within the meantime, followers of Charlie Cox can stay up for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, although that is set to be the tip of Matt Murdock’s present adventures — at the least in the interim. The information broke in late September alongside experiences that its showrunner, Dario Scardapane, exited the series whereas it was in post-production.
Kingpin actor Vincent D’Onofrio penned a heartfelt goodbye to the collection on social media, writing, “Now we have the ultimate Season, season 3 heading your manner subsequent yr with some very cool stuff. A lot like to all who’ve been supportive. I really like that character Fisk. All the time will. Off to a different neck off the woods. In the meantime… Season 3 is coming!”
