Piñata is returning to its roots as an impartial inventive studio after most just lately working as a part of recreation studio Metacore.
Initially based in 2008, Piñata has labored with firms together with Supercell, Rovio, Wooga, Housemarque, Zynga and Moomin Characters.
In 2023, Metacore agreed to acquire 100% of Piñata, with the studio becoming a member of its operations to strengthen its in-house advertising and artistic capabilities whereas engaged on Merge Mansion.
The studio has now introduced its return as an impartial enterprise, describing the transfer as a possibility to return to its inventive roots.
Inventive focus
Piñata mentioned it sees itself primarily as a workforce of visible storytellers, with its impartial providing centered on inventive storytelling throughout animation, illustration, visible growth and consumer acquisition creatives.
“All through the years we have labored with the likes of Supercell, Rovio, Wooga, Housemarque, Zynga, and Moomin Characters,” the workforce wrote in a post. “Now’s the time to return to our roots.”
They added: “Name it a renaissance or the most effective comeback of the 2020s, we at the moment are open to work! Similar workforce, similar ardour, much more expertise and levelled-up expertise!”
Piñata is now accepting new work as an impartial inventive studio.
