Asetek Racing has created a ‘virtual’ button box within its wheel displays

Asetek Racing has introduced (and launched, 18th August) what it calls the Digital Button Field, utilizing the built-in touchscreen on two of its sim racing wheels to vary settings.

Historically, many sim racers would mount a devoted (bodily) button field to their rig, for fast entry to numerous sim settings, or repurpose units corresponding to a Stream Deck.

In keeping with Asetek, with a firmware replace for its screen-equipped Forte Method Professional and Invicta Method Professional steering wheels, the Digital Button Field can be utilized “for pit calls, voice chat, streaming scenes or anything.”

“After we launched the Invicta and Forte Method Professional wheels, with our native contact display screen, we

promised extra options alongside the best way,” mentioned André Sloth Eriksen, founder and CEO, Asetek/

“I’m comfortable that we will now supply our prospects a free.

“Why spend cash on a bodily button field, when you’ll be able to have it without cost proper in entrance of you the place you want it probably the most?”
